What Full spectrum CBD means?
There are three primary types of CBD products: CBD isolate products, broad spectrum CBD, and full spectrum CBD.
- Full spectrum products, however, contain all of the plant’s beneficial compounds.
- CBD isolate is just that: chemically isolated CBD.
- Broad spectrum CBD products contain other beneficial compounds found in cannabis plants such as terpenes and flavonoids, but they contain no THC.
Why choose Full Spectrum CBD?
Full spectrum CBD is the most effective form of CBD. Full spectrum CBD means that the product is made using whole plant hemp extract containing the full spectrum of possible nutrients. That means that as well as containing CBD, it contains many other cannabinoids and compounds (such as THC, CBG, CBDa, CBDv as well as various flavonoids and terpenes).
The reason full spectrum products are vastly more effective is because when these cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids are consumed together, they give way to something called the entourage effect and allow your body to absorb more CBD. So if you’re looking to maximise the therapeutic benefits of CBD, you should opt for full spectrum CBD products whenever possible.
